This Podcast & Video Guest Release Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between Tim Rook (“Host”) and the undersigned individual (“Guest”) in connection with Guest’s participation in any podcast, video interview, recording session, live or pre-recorded content, or related media (collectively, the “Program”).

By participating in the Program, Guest agrees to the following terms:

1. GRANT OF RIGHTS (AUDIO, VIDEO & LIKENESS)

Guest irrevocably grants Tim Rook the perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to:

Record Guest’s audio and video participation in the Program

Use Guest’s name, likeness, image, voice, appearance, biography, and statements

Edit, adapt, reproduce, distribute, display, perform, transmit, and otherwise exploit the Program, in whole or in part

These rights include, but are not limited to, use across:

Podcasts (audio and video)

Websites and landing pages

YouTube and streaming platforms

Social media platforms

Promotional clips, reels, shorts, and trailers

Marketing, advertising, and educational materials

Future media formats not yet known or developed

2. OWNERSHIP OF CONTENT

Guest acknowledges and agrees that:

All recordings, footage, audio, video, transcripts, edits, clips, and derivative works created from the Program are the sole property of Tim Rook

Tim Rook has full editorial control over the final content

Guest has no right to approve, request edits, or demand removal once content is published

Tim Rook is not obligated to publish or distribute the Program

3. NO COMPENSATION

Guest understands and agrees that:

Participation in the Program is voluntary

No compensation, royalties, residuals, or future payments are owed or expected

Guest waives any claims for payment now or in the future

4. REPRESENTATIONS & WARRANTIES

Guest represents and warrants that:

Guest is at least 18 years of age

Guest has full legal authority to enter into this Agreement

Guest’s participation does not violate any contracts, non-disclosure agreements, or obligations with third parties

Any statements made by Guest are truthful and based on personal experience or opinion

Guest agrees not to disclose confidential, proprietary, or legally restricted information during the Program.

5. VIDEO & IMAGE RELEASE

Guest expressly consents to:

Being filmed, photographed, and recorded on video

The use of Guest’s image and likeness in still frames, thumbnails, promotional images, and marketing materials

Cropping, editing, captioning, subtitling, or combining Guest’s image with other media

Guest waives any right to inspect or approve finished video or imagery.

6. RELEASE OF LIABILITY

Guest releases and agrees to hold harmless Tim Rook from any and all claims, demands, damages, or liabilities arising from:

Guest’s participation in the Program

The recording, editing, distribution, or use of audio or video content

Any statements made by Guest during the Program

This release includes, but is not limited to, claims related to:

Defamation

Invasion of privacy

Right of publicity

Emotional distress

Misrepresentation

7. NO GUARANTEE OF DISTRIBUTION OR RESULTS

Guest understands that:

Appearance on the Program does not guarantee exposure, publicity, or audience reach

Tim Rook makes no promises regarding performance metrics, views, downloads, or promotional outcomes

8. CONFIDENTIALITY (LIMITED)

Any confidential information shared outside of the recorded Program will not be intentionally disclosed without consent, except as required by law.

9. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United States and the applicable state of residence of Tim Rook, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

10. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties regarding the Program and supersedes all prior discussions or understandings.

Any modifications must be made in writing and agreed to by both parties.

11. ELECTRONIC ACCEPTANCE & SIGNATURE

Guest agrees that:

Electronic signatures

Digital acknowledgments

Checkbox consent

Submission via online form

constitute valid and binding acceptance of this Agreement.

GUEST ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By submitting, Guest confirms that they have read, understand, and agree to all terms of this Podcast & Video Guest Release Agreement.
