Why I Launched the Favorite Hits Podcast

Preserving the Legacy Behind the Action

The action you see on screen lasts seconds.

The stories behind it last a lifetime.

That’s why I launched Favorite Hits Podcast.

Not as another interview show.
Not as a highlight reel.
But as a place where the people behind the hits finally get to tell their story.

The Why Behind the Podcast

I’ve spent most of my life around fighters, stunt performers, stunt coordinators, wrestlers, and action-driven professionals.

These are people who:

  • Train when no one is watching

  • Take hits so others can shine

  • Solve problems under pressure

  • Put safety, trust, and teamwork above ego

And yet, most of their stories never get told.

The audience sees the explosion.
They don’t see the preparation.

They see the fall.
They don’t see the years of training behind it.

Favorite Hits Podcast exists to change that.

More Than Entertainment

These Stories Matter

Yes, the podcast is entertaining.

You’ll hear:

  • Wild set stories

  • Close calls

  • High-pressure moments

  • Laughs you’d never expect

But beneath the action is something deeper.

Every guest carries a legacy.

A legacy of:

  • Discipline

  • Sacrifice

  • Craft

  • Brotherhood and trust

  • Passing knowledge forward

These conversations aren’t just about “cool moments.”
They’re about how people become dependable under chaos.

That’s a skill that goes far beyond film.

Why Stunt Performers, Fighters, and Wrestlers?

Because these worlds understand something most people don’t.

You don’t survive here by accident.

Stunt performers and fighters know:

  • How to control fear instead of eliminate it

  • How to prepare so instinct takes over

  • How to protect others while doing dangerous work

  • How to take responsibility when things go wrong

That mindset translates to:

  • Leadership

  • Entrepreneurship

  • Personal growth

  • Family life

  • Creative work

These guests aren’t just action professionals.
They’re problem solvers in motion.

The Legacy Piece Most People Miss

One day, the projects fade.

Credits scroll.
Posters come down.
Trends move on.

What lasts is:

  • The lessons shared

  • The people impacted

  • The stories passed on

Favorite Hits Podcast is about capturing that legacy while it’s still alive.

So the next generation of performers, coordinators, and creators can learn:

  • What really matters on set

  • How trust is built

  • Why humility keeps you working

  • How preparation saves lives

This is about respect for the craft.

Why I’m Personally Invested

I didn’t grow up with access to this world.

I grew up watching it.

Action films, martial arts, and fight scenes were where I first saw:

  • Confidence

  • Strength

  • Discipline

  • Possibility

Later, I trained.
Then I worked.
Then I coordinated.
Then I taught.

This podcast is full circle for me.

It’s a way to:

  • Honor the people who paved the way

  • Spotlight professionals who deserve recognition

  • Share lessons that don’t come from textbooks

And to remind people that action isn’t reckless when it’s done right.
It’s calculated.
It’s disciplined.
It’s earned.

What You’ll Get as a Listener

If you listen to Favorite Hits Podcast, you’ll walk away with:

  • Behind-the-scenes stories you won’t hear anywhere else

  • Real lessons about preparation and pressure

  • Insight into what makes professionals trustworthy

  • Inspiration without fluff or hype

Whether you’re:

  • A performer

  • A creative

  • An entrepreneur

  • A leader

  • Or just someone who loves action

There’s something here for you.

This Is Just the Beginning

Favorite Hits Podcast isn’t about chasing numbers.

It’s about preserving stories.

It’s about giving credit to the people who make others look great.

It’s about legacy.

And I’m just getting started.

If you care about the craft, the culture, and the people behind the hits
you’re in the right place.
